Why knowledge is important for human development



In today's world without education and the power of knowledge, it is not possible to succeed in life or even keep up with the fast-paced life. Factual knowledge not only gives us  critical and reasonable thoughts but also helps us to take new information.  As knowledge also provides confidence that helps us to understand ourselves better, we can take the best decision in our life. The power of knowledge or education is vital for human development and there are many reasons why education plays an important role in human development. 

Education is one of the most important means through which an individual from one generation passes the necessary knowledge to the other individuals of the next generation. 

Some of the most common knowledge topics which are passed on socially include learning how to be honest, acts of loyalty, or how to be an effective citizen. To be educated, we have to be familiar with formal education, informal education and non-formal education. 

Human development is a complex concept which involves the expansion of all human capabilities, a widening in choices for all individuals, the fulfillment of human rights, and the enhancement of freedom. The basic aim of human development is to create an efficient environment which allows all people to enjoy healthy, long and creative lives. Here we can learn that the reasons why education or knowledge is important for human development. Although education and salary do not always correlate, the individuals with better education are able to afford better quality essential services. 

Various surveys and reports have proved that the issue of poverty can be probably solved and the crime rates will also be greatly reduced with the help of education. This means that individuals with better knowledge will be able to work for the greater good of the entire mankind. Knowledge can be used for positive as well as negative purposes but finally the power of knowledge wins everything. I think there can be no action without knowledge. Therefore, there is no doubt that knowledge is vital for human development.
